My all time favorite fish! They are so entertaining to watch! They watch you as much as you watch them.lol And they learn after time that your are the one that supplies the yummy nori seaweed, and will get very excited when you come near the tank. I had issues with mine being slightly territorial so don't believe that innocent tang face all the time ;)
If you buy the tangs smaller like around 2.5" they will do fine is a 55 gallon for at most 1.5 years. After that they will really need a larger tank. They start to get stressed in a the confines of a smaller tank like a 55 gallon.
A beautiful entertaining fish! I highly HIGHLY reccomend yellow tangs for beginners and experts alike!
